Day 12, Stone Forest

This day we went to Shi Lin, an area that has a Stone Forest, the most visited sight in Yunnan province. It also has been rated as "AAAAA" China's scenic spot. Just for comparison, in Yangshuo the best one we saw was "AAAA". The stones have been under water 270 million years and after the sea retreated the stones began to change their shape into this weird and twisted shapes with the help of wind and rain.

Some stones have their names. Those are called "Mother and son are strolling together".

Some paths can be very narrow

Good place for hide and seek

Very impressive and unusual, you even can get lost among the tunnels of the stones.

Even more impressive with the water
