Kuldiga

Martins said there is a very nice town in Latvia with a beautiful old town and the widest waterfall in Europe and took us with Bolzano people to see it. There we met with one local Latvian girl, a friend of Martins who was guiding us through the town. Those days there was some kind of celebration of a town with a concert on the main town's square. There me and Veronika bought Latvian colourful sweets made pepper dough, the one they make piparkūkas of (my favourite cookies!). It didn't take us much to see main sightseeing of the town since it was very small, though the town itself was really beautiful, also very green.

I'm glad that you liked it too. It's a pitty that we arrived there a bit late and didn't have much time to check out the festivities and some more of the old town - similar though to the part we saw :).
Yeah and actually you skipped the fact that the old Kuldiga's bridge is the longest brick bridge in Europe :P.

P.S. Here's my post about jumpin' salmons at the spring, that I told you about - http://zaucho.blogspot.com/2008/04/salmons-keep-on-rollin.html

P.P.S. I've seen this new design somewhere, hmm... I'm also considering to switch to some full-width design.

yes I did like it and thanks for taking us!
yeah, I also I forgot to mention that wood the bridge is made of is the oldest in Europe!

thanks for heading me to the post about salmon. I was expecting some long and boring post about salmons' life, but no - it's short and right to the point! ;)

My template will stay for a while ;)

that wasn't my intention, I even didn't notice it since you have this huge poster of you in the background, it's not so obvious to see which background you are using ;) ok, ok i am changing it as soon as I get back from Tallinn!
