Squirrels

Those cute and funny animals are very frequent guests in out little garden. To make them come more often we give them nuts, which they adore! The only danger for them is our neighbor cat who quietly waits for the squirrels to come and later jumps on hunting them around an area. No success for the cat so far...

keeping my fingers crossed for the squirrels... our cat managed to kill some so don't feed them too much or they'll get fat and slow.. (or feed the cat a lot so it will be to slow for the squirrels ;)

Very exciting. If I had them, I would for make the experiment they wrote about in NewScientist.

the cat is already quite fat, moreover he cannot go through the gates, it's too small for him, so no chance :) i'll try to catch a good moment of that cat, if I see him, cause now it's quite rainy here, so I don't see him anymore :)

wow, video is funny, just I am not sure I want to do that experiment. Squirrels might think I want to trick them, so there is a chance they'll decide not to visit us later :)

zaucho, so it's your video?! How comes you are in NZ? Something with studies? In London I saw recently a fox on the street. I though I am crazy... Later I found out there are many of them living in the city.

It's aussie where I'm now btw, and instead of pigeons they have parrots flying around all over here and instead of cats - bunnies in parks. And whole a lot of birds in parks. I'm hanging around here, doing some pseudo-research which should grant me 12 credits for my diploma ;).
