Papa in London
I finally made at least one of my parents visit me in London. This time it was my father who came to London for 5 days. We spent a really great time together, most of which we were walking. I won't exaggerate if I tell that we walked more than 100 km those days. Party because my father loves long walks and also because of London transportation which wasn't working so well during those days. For instance on 25-th of December no transport except taxi was working in the whole city. During the Christmas day there wasn't much to do in the city, so we took a long walk along the Thames river, ending up in Ritz, where we had a reservation for an afternoon tea. It turned out Ritz hotel was even more fancy than Landmark and the Christmas atmosphere with all the impressive decorations, beautifully dressed people, very good tea with snacks and deserts, quiet live piano music were just amazing. This day we also went to a very beautiful St. Paul's church to listen to festal evensong which also was pretty remarkable. Some pictures from our long walks in the city
