Make-up in the train?!

What I find particularly surprising in London (dunno about other UK places) is that very often you can see women doing makeup in public transport. And it isn't something like quickly putting on a lipstick or nose powdering. No! They use the the whole set of cosmetic tools taking them 15-20 minutes to complete their makeup. While being absolutely stunned by that none else seems to pay attention. I fact not only I am being so surprised that I can't stop looking at them, I also enjoy it, some women seems to be very skilled and despite shaky environment manage to put accurately the same amount of makeup on both sides of their face. Fascinating!
