Tuscany

We spent 3 very lovely days in Tuscany. Except very pleasant and unique Tuscan nature and beautiful cities we also saw the seaside.

The sea was wavy and I just wish I would arrive to Viareggio a month before to have a nice swim and jump on the waves. Though it was still good to see the sea and walk on a soft sandy beach.

Mark also went with us, which was his first road trip and he did well, so we won't be afraid to take him to other road trips.

Montereggioni is a lovely town/village situated on the hill. It wasn't in our plans to visit it, but when driving by on our way to Siena to saw this little town surrounded by city walls on the hill we couldn't resist.

You could also climb on the city wall and see the town from the top and it's surroundings.

In the evening we took a walk in Siena. I was told it's the most amazing city in Tuscany. The weather however was a bit chilly, Mark was too tired and after a quick walk in the city center and a dinner we decided to leave that beautiful city and come back tomorrow. Which we didn't. In the morning we realized how many things we still want to see and how little time we have.

A bit of Siena. This is the main square, which is made in a shape of a shell. That is what makes the square unique. I was told that when the weather is warm enough people do sit or lay on it. And some people get the feeling that the square by itslef asks them to lay on it.

to be continued...
