Landscapes of Tuscany

Landscape of Tuscany is mostly hilly. Before coming there I wouldn't think it's something special as I am not very sentimental about hills, fields or cypresses. We were driving through the countryside for 3 days periodically stopping to enjoy the views. After the first stop however I thought that there is something in it. More we drove, more Tuscan landscape amazed me. In the end I fell in love. And it wasn't even spring or summer when the colors of the nature are the most bright. Tuscany is also full of vineyards. We stopped in some to try as there were still plenty of non-collected. Most of grapes were small, dark blue and very sweet, probably very suitable for raisins.

Not to forget olive plantations. Tuscany is full of them, even the use of butter in Tuscan cooking is very rare, since olive oil has almost totally replaced butter.
