Last week mark got sick and we were advised by doctor to go to hospital for treatment. We stayed there a almost 1 week and except disappointing bronchitis and antibiotics that Mark had to take time we spent in hospital wasn't bad at all. The hospital was joined with rehabilitation center that has a cool swimming pool with a really warm sea water, so whenever Andrejs could come and take care of Mark I went there for a relaxing swim.

Mark feels much better now is finally back home. I am trying to teach him walking by himself. He likes to walk when I hold his hands, this way he probably feels secure and can walk very fast, but whenever I am trying to release one hand he sits on the floor :)

Today was an important day for me. It's the first day I drove a car completely alone. Did couple of small mistakes, but all in all I am content :)

My niece learned to walk by holding a neclace instead of the hand. So you can trick the child with any loose material, that he thinks he can hold on to, but in fact he is holding it when you release it and before it. The point is to learn the balance, which is not easy if you give the hand, because it is a part of the balance.
