Bruno told us that Piracicaba is a town of sugar cane and we shouldn't miss a chance if want to try sugar cane juice there. Sugar cane juice squeezer machines are popular in many places in Piracicaba and we had lots of chances to try it during the day and I loved it's very sweet flavor!

Churrascaria was the next place on the list for the day and I am sure it is going to be remembered by all members of our group. In this place waiters attack you with meat. Literally! Churrascaria is kind of a barbecue house where you can eat any kind of grilled meat as much as you want. Actually it is more as much as you can! Passadores (meat waiters) come to your table with knives and a skewer, on which are speared various kinds of meat - beef, pork, lamb, chicken, ham, sausage or any other sort of local cut of meat and slice it directly into your plate. We booked a table in one of the best and highly rated Churrascarias in town, came there all together and there was when it began. Waiters started to come one by one, bringing all this good looking, tasty smelling delicious types of meat. Whatever they were bringing we just couldn't resist. It was too good not to try it. We were brought about 10 different types of meat and other snacks and quite soon we were full. Locals however explained to us that it's only the beginning and that we should prepare ourselves for more. There also was a little carton circle with green and red colors on the sides. Placing face-up green would mean we want more meat, placing it up red means - we want to take a break from eating. Most of us places red as we simply didn't have anymore place in our stomachs. However when waiters saw that they probably thought that we misunderstood something and kept coming bringing this delicious irresistible meat. Even being so full we just couldn't say no, it was impossible and we ended up eating there probably 2 hours in total.

After lunch Bruno took us for a walk by along Piracicaba river. This river is famous for being a real pain in the neck for fishes who try to swim upstream to reproduce, and meet the waterfall wall on their way which is very difficult or even impossible to jump over. There are probably many videos in Youtube about that and I am gonna find one and put in as it looks quite impressive. I personally didn't see that as it wasn't the right season for fish migration.
Watching Piracicaba's waterfall

In the end of the day we took half an hour boat ride in Piracicaba river enjoying nice views of
Piracicabas shores in the sunset.

Later we went together for an ice cream. I thought that a scoop of ice cream in Brazil shouldn't differ from the size of the scoop in Europe. I ordered 2 scoops of different flavours and instead got 4, which apparently was a normal 2-scoop portion by Brazilian measures!
