We didn't really know what to expect from this opera. I heard of well designed decorations, and Japanese opera singers. As for decorations to create a proper look of a Japanese garden the scene was flooded with water to create a little pond around the house of the main heroine. Singing was very good, though i didn't understand much except maybe rarely catching some separate words and it was a really good idea to buy a summary of opera acts before the play. One thing I was surprised about that singers weren't fat as I was imagining opera singers but rather slim and good looking. Before coming to the opera I had no idea of Madam's Butterfly's story. The story of Madam Butterfly is so unbelievably sorrow and heartbreaking that it leaves you in a complete shock afterwords making you wish to forget what has happened. The other operas I have previously been to (not too many though) had sad endings, this makes me wonder if it's kind of a must-do thing for an opera to finish with a tragedy. It was a very impressive, memorable performance which I would love to see again in a few years if I have a chance. I had my little camera with me.

Madam Butterfly opera
Currently became sort of crazy about different events. One said that if you are tired of London, you are tired of life. I can't disagree. There is so much to do, so much to see, so much to experience and all those events are never ending. And now I am becoming a theatre lover and London is just a perfect place for that. I have seen recently seen several theater pieces, but one of them impressed me in particular. Me and Anna decided to see Madam Butterfly opera, that is currently one of the hits in London. Opera's performance takes place almost every day with complete tickets sell-out. It takes place in Albert Hall, that has a shape of a circus being round and huge by being able to hold 8000 people. It's round shape design allows to see the whole scene from whatever place you sit which is a challenge for other London's theaters.
