Today and on Sunday

I took a day off from work to register Mark with new GP in our area and later went to Lithuanian ambassy to unregister myself from my address Vilnius. 2 things completely unrelated, but had to be done one day. Now I am officially a citizen of only one city. Lithuanian embassy is nothing like I have imagined. It's basically a little cellar room with tiny corridor with 1 guard and 3 employees, who I must say were working quite efficiently despite a big queue. I was done in 15 minutes and as the embassy was close to Regents park, I took a chance and bought take away lunch to enjoy it on Regent Park's grass. It's the first very warm day this year, about 22 degrees and park was so full of people who had exactly the same idea as me. Regent's park is one of the most beautiful and most visited parks in London which now was particularly beautiful with all the blooming flowers and trees.

About 2 weeks ago Mei Sin and her husband came to London for 1 year, which was a pleasant surprise and we decided to meet on Sunday somewhere in the city centre by choosing London Bridge station. I don't know how many times I have been to that station which should make me quite familiar with it's exits and directions, but I always feel lost. I was running from one exit to another trying to find either Mei Sin with her husband or Valdemaras who both were in different ends. Hard to imagine how things would turn around 15 years ago, but thanks to such technology as a mobile phone we eventually found each other. Mei Sin didn't change at all as well as Valdemaras and me (I prefer to think like that:))) and we walked all the way down to Tower bridge remembering old days in Bolzano and discussing our stay in London.

On Sunday evening most of the places around Tower Bridge were closing down and we had no choice but to choose an still-open Italian-style cafeteria which were serving nothing-like Italian ice cream and not an Italian-way cappuchino at all. We took some pictures of each other, Mei Sin took pictures of everyone in different combinations, and I was too lazy for that, so I only took a picture of Valdemaras who was sitting right in front of me.
