Blue Lagoon

Before I start organizing and uploading billions of pictures I want to say couple of words about the great invention of Icelandic people called geothermal spa. It's water is coming from the ground near a lava flow and it's temperature comfortably regulated all over the year. The greatest thing about this warm open air bath is that you can come there in any weather - snowing, raining or horrible wind and just stay in this comfortable naturally blue water. I know our stay in Iceland without this attractions would not be the same. There are several (or many? not sure about that) such geothermal spas in Iceland, and the most famous one, called Blue Lagoon is in Reykjavik and we went there directly after our flight. It was so relaxing that we kept saying we have to come back again in the end our journey. Later we found another spa like that in the Northern part of Iceland and stayed there while it was terribly windy and snowing for several hours, and especially in such weather it worked like a magnet, I couldn't come out it. And I could even call it perfect if it wouldn't be so smelly, somewhere less, somewhere more, but still very very smelly.
