Myvatn lake region

I found Myvatn lake region an exceptionally interesting due to it's volcanic landforms and very unusual colors. When you are there it seems you are somewhere on another planet. Numerous geothermal mud holes which boiling smelly grey mud on yellow-brown volcanic landscape looks so unusual. And it also was the first time I've ever walked on the edge of a crater. And also the first time I walked in the "forest" formed by lava.
