Day 45, Suzhou city

In the evening after leaving Shanghai we arrived to Suzhou. Since we were running out of time in China we stayed there quite for a short period. In the evening we went for a beer to one Irish pub (i think it was an Irish pub or something like that) where we had very expensive beers, Guinness for instance, was almost twice more expensive than in Bolzano's Temple bar.

Suzhou is an old, full of canals city and our guide book said that this city could be called as Chinese Venice.

Though they have a very big park, I think, the biggest in China. A good place to relax...

Two very old pagodas, built in 8-th century (if I am not lying, I don't feel like checking).

This picture was taken by Andrejs. I don't know what it is, but I like it :)
