Penang island

Our initial plan was to get to fantastic Perhentian Islands, the best place to relax in Malaysia, but all the tickets to get there were sold out for several days, so we could get there only later. We had to try something else and thought of going to Penang island, which also seemed quite great. The island is the fourth largest in the country with an area of 295 km2 and is connected with mainland by Penang bridge which is 13.5 km, and is among the longest bridges in the world.

Every time I saw Malaysian cats I was wondering why most of them have short tales or sometimes no tail at all. Do people cut them off and eat them? Actually all this is simply because Malaysian cats have an odd gene that creates this weird kind of tail.

A young coconut milk is a very refreshing and tasty drink. With comparison to old young coconuts are full of juice and you have to be really thirsty to drink it all by yourself. It is also very soft inside, you can eat everything from the inside with a spoon.

In the morning we tried jet ski, that was just awesome, you could go really really fast and if there were some waves on the surface that made you jump. I also noticed that if you seat in front and have a control of the jet skis everything seems to be less scary, then if you seat in the back.

Later we tried parachute which was bound with a rope to the motor boat, which by going with the speed raised parachute very high. Here I am being instructed how to use parachute before taking off and landing.

You can't really distinguish who it is, but it's me!

Andrejs took the camera with him to make pictures while flying.
