I am so sad :( My portable hard drive broke down and makes "krrkrrrkrr" sounds. I wouldn't care that much if only I would have a backup of everything precious that I had there :(

oh noo, this is really too bad! but you didnt connect it with an extension wire, did you? cause i did this once and the drive only made this weird noise and didnt run anymore but it turned out to be due to lack of electricity...
what is an extension wire? not sure... Actually I was told if that is because of electricity it isn't bad, and fixable, also if one of controllers gone bad. However if that is hard drive itself, there isn't much of hope. So let's hope :)
