In the morning we had to miss our ferry ride again due to the fog which can last sometimes for a long time, so we decided we would rather drive around than wait an indefinite period of time.
Seagles are of cause expected to hang our near the sea coast, however it would be better if they would mind their own business. Just after they noticed we came with food they started to fly around with some crazy speed and send each other loud signals. If we pretened we didn't notice them they would fly lower, almost reaching our heads. If we would go on we would be left withouth dinner
As we had to drive all the way back the same route because there wasn't any other way to get to Isle of Skye, I thought that driving would no longer be that interesting. But on the way back we noticed many things we missed when driving forward. For example this little island.
And a Glenfinnan Monument (I have no idea how we could miss it) was to mark the place where Prince Charles (not current prince of Wales) raised his standard. We didn't come closer as entrance wasn't free and would take some time, instead we went on driving.

OMG, that is so beautiful!
thank you :) Yes indeed, I think would be even greater to go hiking in this region
Totally agree! To experience (not only to see) the landscape one needs to hike. Very beautiful, I will have it in my destinations list. I think life is even too short for all the beautiful places in Europe.
Yes, sometimes I am thinking about this too. Soooo many places and such a short life. What is on the destination list so far?
