In Zurich

I love to make plans about travelling, book hostels/hotels, read travel guides, travel reviews and basically everything related to travel organization, but this time it this all wasn't necessary. This time we went to Switzerland to visit Diana and Andrej who know their living area and surroundings very good and took us to some beautiful places around. I must say I did really enjoy it by having a very good and relaxing break from work. 4 days only, but was quite enough to get the best of it. Diana and Andrej live in little town/village near Zurich called Bonstetten. Their flat is situated right on the hill from which you can get a good view of the whole village. Diana and Andrej have a car, which is very convenient (unlike having a car in London) to travel around the area and explore little towns. And that's what they do.

But before writing more about Switzerland I want to comment on a great "invention" called Yotel, which is a hotel of Gatwick airport. Since my stay there, Gatwick is my favourite airport on earth! Our flight was at 6:30 a.m. which meant that we would have to sleep in the airport, because no trains are leaving that early from our living area. I was googling online what's the best way to spend the night in Gatwick, when I found out about Yotel which is literally inside the airport and only a few steps away from departure gates!

Despite rooms being very small and by small I mean really small, you probably couldn't even jump in it, as ceiling are too low and it was a little pricey, but was totally worth it. We slept very well and could spend the whole day with Andrej and Diana travelling.

Our Swiss travel we started from Zurich. We climbed one of the high city center towers and looked at Zurich from above. We walked around for a while, went to have a coffee and spending there probably no more than 2-3 hours we were mostly done. Turned out Zurich wasn't as big as I expected, which is a good thing, as right after that we went to a very cute little town called Luzern.
