Kent

Kent is a big and lovely county in south of England. A colleague of mine who is a resident in this are for several years knows the area pretty well and invited me to see some nice places together. She drove me through small villages, fields, local pubs serving food from local farms, and showed me something I was seeking long time - lavender fields, which was all really lovely and beautiful. We entered a shop near those fields selling different kinds of products made from lavender. They even had food made of it! I bought a cake made of lavender (just to be clear: lavender was not the only ingredient) and gooseberries jam that included lavender. This was just out of curiosity. I love lavender smell, but taste of it in food doesn't really make food tastier.
