Dulwich Picture Gallery

Logged in to blogspot to write some updates about some events, and found this completely new to try looks as well as completely different blog management interface. Feels a little weird, but I am sure I will find it more convenient after a while.

Today we visited Dulwich Art Gallery which had an exhibition of 7 Canadian painters, called the Group of Seven. There were some interesting facts about those painters that I managed to read during my short stay in the gallery and there is plenty of information about them online. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_of_Seven_(artists) We were asked to leave the gallery for Mark's "misbehavior", so couldn't really take proper insight. In such cases I always envy people who came to see exhibition with no kids, so they can completely dedicate their time for watching pictures and reading all the information about it or just quietly sitting and drinking coffee with some nice cake in some nice place, instead of worrying for every step your kid is making. Mark certainly can't be blamed for running around the gallery, and trying to touch security ropes, cause that's what kids of his age do and trying to explain to him that museum is the place where people quietly enjoy what they see doesn't work. So instead of spending an hour, we spent around 10 minutes in the gallery and much more outside it as there was a nice park. All the paintings were about Canadian nature which reminded nature of Baltic countries except it looked much more wild. Oh, and also had mountains.
